Note: My love affair continues. But before Paris, we spent our first full day at château de Versailles.
Bienvenue à Versailles! This overwhelming palace that lavishly exists thanks to King Louis XIV. Full of majestic vibes with every turn you make. All of your senses are completely satisfied. Your eyes can’t possibly study the fine exquisite details fast enough. Your fingers can’t help but graze the walls that are so beautifully draped the in richness of the velvet victorian patterns. Gigantic chandiliers dressed in hundreds of sparkling crystals, causing beams of light to shine no matter what position in the room you are standing in.
Then there’s the Garden of Versilles, a garden with no secrets at all, there’s no denying the magic. Perfectly curated flower beds with luscious colors on display balanced with the masculinity of the historical statues..
I clearly could go on and on, so just see for yourself!
Paris, I love you. I love to photograph every inch of you.. that’s old news. But, these iPhone photos will have to do this time around. With an extremely busy schedule during Fashion Week, I strategically saved my sight seeing for the last few days of my trip, and of course, as life would have it.. my Canon completely shut off before my last show to photograph, leaving me with nothing but an iPhone and a broken heart for the remainder of the trip. But honestly, it ended up being for the best. Sometimes you have step away from the lens and just be present, and I managed to do just that.
